AHMEDABAD: The Dalal Hall food poisoning incident saw a total of 128 persons being admitted at the VS Hospital till Wednesday afternoon. This is one of the biggest food poisoning incidents in recent years. Hospital officials said that out of 128 victims, 94 persons were affected by the bacteria Staphylococcus Aureus, which causes 'toxic shock syndrome' in victims due to secretion of exotoxin which is the cause of food poisoning. Out of the 94, the number of adult victims was 75 while 19 were children.
