UPDATE: Village of Riverton lifts water conservation order

RIVERTON, Ill. (WICS/WRSP) — Update:

The Village of Riverton has lifted its conservation of water order, as the water main break was fixed by 4:30 p.m. Monday.

No boil order was issued during the water main break and 3rd Street has been reopened.

The Village of Riverton is asking residents to conserve water until further notice.

Currently, a water main break is in effect. There is also low water in the village's water tower.

No boil order has been issued at this time.
