Boil water advisory issued for Forty Mile’s Golden Sheaf Park

A boil-water order has been issued for Golden Sheaf Park west of Medicine Hat, in the County of Forty Mile.

The directive from Alberta Health Services was issued on June 27 and results from levels of E. coli and coliforms found in water samples taken June 25.

It states the order is a precautionary note and that water should be brought to a rapid, rolling boil of at least one minute prior to using it for domestic purposes.

The park management is required to continue providing samples, then once satisfactory levels are achieved, flush the distribution system.

The order will remain in effect until that occurs.
