A second, seasonal surge in Valley fever cases has borne out predictions of a bad year for the debilitating disorder, says Dr. John Galgiani, a UA professor and director the UA Valley Fever Center for Excellence.

Cases of the respiratory ailment peaked last fall and have now shown a second, seasonal spike.
