ST. ALBANS, WV (WOWK) – Multiple rooms at St. Albans High School, including the library and multiple classrooms, have been cleaned because of mold levels.

According to Kanawha County Schools, Astar Abatement cleaned the library, the computer lab, the counselor suite, and 12 classrooms at St. Albans High School late last week.

KCS says that the cleaning is complete and follow-up air quality testing is being done today, August 13th, 2018.

They say they anticipate those results in the next couple of days and they will know at that point whether every room sampled is at an acceptable level. If not, the rooms will undergo additional cleaning until the air samples show levels in an acceptable range.

Students in Kanawha County go back to school on Monday, August 20th, 2018.
