Boil Order Issued for Part of Mayfield

A spokesperson for Mayfield Water and Electric says a boil water order has been issued for some of their customers.

The area affected by the order includes North 1st Street, North 2nd Street, Ann Street, and Apperson Street.

Customers should boil any water they want to use for drinking or cooking.

The order is until further notice. No estimate was given for how long the precaution would be in place.
