Dengue stings 2 more in city, total count 33

CHANDIGARH: With three more fresh cases of vector-borne diseases coming to light on Wednesday, the dengue count in the city has reached 33 and that of malaria 30.

With three more fresh cases of vector-borne diseases coming to light on Wednesday, the dengue count in the city has reached 33 and that of malaria 30.

Two cases of dengue and one of malaria were reported from three different places in the city. While dengue cases were reported from Hallo Majra and Sector 46, the lone malaria case was reported from Dhanas.

Health officials said people should not let water stagnate in and around their houses. Rooftop water tanks should be covered and water coolers cleaned regularly.
