'My body is worked': Pink bids farewell to Australia after her troubled tour... before promising to return for her rescheduled Sydney concerts

Pink thanked her Australian fans on Thursday for their support throughout her troubled tour Down Under.

During her time in the country, the 38-year-old singer has been plagued by illness, resulting in several Sydney concerts being rescheduled for next month.

After performing at Melbourne's Rod Lava Arena the previous night - in what was originally meant to be the last show of her Aussie tour - Pink took to Instagram to reflect on her challenging few weeks.

She wrote: 'Thank you for two decades of heart, soul and sweat and tears and loyalty and all of us growing up together.

'Nothing easy is ever good. My heart is full, my body is worked... Thank you for all of it. See you in a week or two Sydney.'

The songstress is set to perform seven concerts in New Zealand in early September before returning to Sydney later in the month for her final three shows, which were originally scheduled for August.

Pink and her family have been plagued with health problems throughout the Australian leg of her Beautiful Trauma World Tour - with her one-year-old son Jameson's diagnosis with hand, foot and mouth disease being the latest setback

Earlier this week, the singer's husband Carey Hart revealed on Instagram that Jameson was experiencing painful symptoms, including a rash, and that the couple's daughter Willow, seven, also had a high temperature.

The children's illnesses come after Pink herself battled through poor health earlier this month, which resulted in four sold-out stadium shows at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena being rescheduled.

Pink has been embarking on her 128-date Beautiful Trauma World Tour, which kicked off in March this year and concludes in May 2019. For much of the journey around the world, she has been joined by her family.

She and Carey frequently share idyllic 'tour life' photos to Instagram, yet things took a turn for the worse on Tuesday when both their kids fell ill.

Sharing a snap of Jameson on social media, motocross rider Carey, 43, revealed the toddler was suffering with one of the key symptoms of hand, foot and mouth disease - a painful rash.

He also claimed that a woman would not stop staring at the child with 'a sh**ty look on her face' while they were having breakfast.

Health woes: Pink was struck down with a gastric virus earlier this month while in Sydney

Pink was then discharged from hospital the following day.

As a result of her illness, the Raise Your Glass hitmaker was forced to postpone her Qudos Bank Arena shows on Friday August 3, Monday August 6, Tuesday August 7 and Thursday August 9.

(Despite her health problems, she battled through a concert on Saturday August 4.)
