Four test positive for dengue

GHAZIABAD: The health department has gone on alert after four cases of dengue were reported from the city. “These patients who are in the age group of 25 to 34 years are from Noida and Delhi but they have been receiving treatment in Ghaziabad hospital. We have informed the MCD and the Noida CMO to take necessary measures,” he said. The department has started fogging, mostly in government establishments, and is planning to extend the drive to residential areas.“We received four samples from a private hospital a few days ago and after conducting tests they were found positive,” said G K Mishra, district malaria officer.
