Girl suffering from encephalitis dies

DEMOW: Sunmoni Bauri (10), a resident of Raichai Gaon and daughter of Sunu Murari, died on Saturday. Sunmoni Bauri was a student of Demow Konwar Dehingia Primary School and was studying in Class V. She was suffering from encephalitis and was admitted in Demow Model Hospital for 20 days ago. She was later admitted in Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) in Dibrugarh for better treatment. On Thursday, Sunmoni was discharged from AMCH and she returned home. But she again fell ill and on Saturday she passed away.
