LIFE AFTER DEATH: 'Dead man' describes ‘travelling through time’ to understand EVERYTHING

A MAN who temporarily died claims to have travelled through the history of the universe and time and was taught everything that was ever known by a mysterious higher being.

Dr Sam Parnia reveals what happens when we die

Giving his name as just Fred, he describes suffering from a serious, unknown illness when he clinically died for several minutes.

Despite being revived by paramedics after a short time, Fred said the experience felt like an eternity.

The 20-year old said as he was dying, the walls around his room fell away and he began to see a bright light.

Through this light came a staircase with a man travelling towards him.

The man introduced himself as ‘HeaTayaham’ and guided Fred up the stairs and through a bright tunnel.

Fred writes on the Near Death Experience Research Foundation: “He then took me by my hand at an extraordinary pace through a tunnel and then through the entire space and past every single planet that existed.

“Moving through space, he explained everything to me and wanted to show me everything he had ever created.

“He was downloading information to me regarding how it was made, how much time it took.”

Fred then said the man ‘downloaded’ a new language to his vocabulary, which will allow them to communicate at any moment, before returning him to his hospital bed.

Fred continued: “What he had left me with was a language that I am able to communicate with him. He brought me back to my room where everything was as it was.

“He said, 'Remember. If you think you cannot reach me, use the language I have given you and I will respond’.

“It took me a week until I was able to walk following this event. The pace through the universe was so intense, it made my legs numb and I couldn't walk. In the following months, I could hear a voice but in a language I was unable to understand.

“I could speak this language as well, but could not understand what I said.”

Experiences like Fred’s are not uncommon and researchers believe they could have an explanation.

Dr Sam Parnia, director of critical care and resuscitation research at NYU Langone School of Medicine in New York City, told Oz Talk: “People describe a sensation of a bright, warm, welcoming light that draws people towards it.

“They describe a sensation of experiencing their deceased relatives, almost as if they have come to welcome them. They often say that they didn’t want to come back in many cases, it is so comfortable and it is like a magnet that draws them that they don’t want to come back.

“A lot of people describe a sensation of separating from themselves and watching doctors and nurses working on them.”

Dr Parnia says there are scientific explanations for the reaction, and says seeing people is not evidence of the afterlife, but more likely the brain just scanning itself as a survival technique.

He said thanks to modern technology and science “death does not have to be limited to philosophy and religion, but it can be explored through science”.

“They can hear things and record all conversations that are going on around them.”
