Kozhikode: The medical team of the Manipal Virology Institute has confirmed that the person who died following fever was affected with H1N1. The deceased was identified as Perambra native Mujeeb.
Following his death, social media triggered panic among the public by spreading the news that the death was due to Nipah virus.
