New details have emerged in the sudden death of a Dominican social media star last week.
Police found 25-year-old Franchesca Lizandro -- better known as Franchesca La Profeta No Down -- unconscious at the Brooklyn Crab, where she worked as a chef.
Now, Lizandro's roommate Brian Garcia says she is disappointed in the restaurant's manager for threatening to fire her if she did not come into work with an asthma condition that was getting worse.
Garcia says the restaurant worked Lizandro too hard and the death could have been avoided. He says the morning of her death, Lizandro checked herself into a hospital after working a week straight.
News 12 tried talking with employees at Brooklyn Crab, but none commented, saying they were respecting the family's wishes.
Lizandro's music manager says the family is donating her heart and kidney to someone who needs it. A funeral for her will be held Monday in Williamsburg.
Garcia helped put together a memorial outside of his apartment for Lizandro, including a scooter that she loved and many friends and fans knew her by.
Lizandro made music videos that went viral and attracted a large following. An outpouring of grief and disbelief has come from social media since her death.
