SPARTA, Mo. – The city of Sparta is under a boil order until further notice.
The Mayor of Sparta Nathan Stapp says that Saturday morning power was lost to the city’s main well. Empire is currently working to repair the well.
Citizens are urged to boil any water for drinking or cooking.
Stapp says that water tests should come back by Monday morning. The boil order could be lifted on Tuesday or Wednesday.
