GREENVILLE, Pitt County — Flu season is here and with two flu-related deaths in our state, local and state health officials are urging the public to get vaccinated.
Last flu season there were 391 flu-related deaths across the state. That's the most since 2009. Health officials said the best way to protect yourself from the virus is to get the vaccine, wash your hands and use etiquette such as coughing into your sleeve.
