Ingredients suppliers issue recalls for several prepackaged meals

OLYMPIA, Wash. — Two food recalls to look out for in Washington due to concerns of Salmonella and Listeria.

Taylor Farms Northwest of Kent is recalling their ready to eat “Pork Carnitas Bowls” with sell by dates of October 15-19 after their supplier for tomatillos, an ingredient used in the bowls, reported Salmonella concerns.

Mary’s Harvest Fresh Foods in Oregon also recalled their ready to eat “Mary’s Harvest Southwest Chicken Wrap w/Rib Meat” after their corn supplier issued a recall.

Trader Jose’s Mexicali Inspired Salad with Chili Seasoned Chicken” also used some of the contaminated corn.

No confirmed illnesses have been reported.
