Chauntai Williams was charged again with endangering a child after her newborn tested positive for cocaine.

A Montgomery mother awaiting trial on a charge of using cocaine while pregnant last year was arrested after she again tested positive for the drug following the birth of another child earlier this month.

Chauntai Williams, 27, was arrested Tuesday about 5 p.m. on a warrant for a chemical endangerment charge by U.S. Marshals,  Montgomery police Capt. Regina Duckett said.

Police were contacted by the Department of Human Resources on Oct. 1 after Williams' newborn tested positive for a controlled substance. According to court records, the boy was exposed to cocaine.

Last year Williams was charged with the same after another baby boy also tested positive for cocaine following his birth at Jackson Hospital, according to court records.

Williams is currently being held on a $15,000 bond at the Montgomery County Jail, and is scheduled to go to trial Nov. 5.
