Dengue Cases Show Decline

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Nov, 2018 ) :Dengue fever cases have registered a sharp decrease in the city during the last three days, said District Health Officer Health Dr Tahir Rizvi here Sunday.
The DHO said that since last week daily 3 to 5 patients were brought to allied hospitals, in October the number was 20 to 25, while earlier the number of daily patients was 35 to 40.
He expressed the hope that in December, the number of dengue patients would witness a further decline as weather gets cooler which is not suitable for the breeding of dengue mosquito.
He advised the residents to be careful during the wee hours and evening as it is suitabletime for mosquito bite.
