Free Rabies Clinic In Cinnaminson Jan. 12

Dog owners must get rabbies vaccinations before they can procure licenses.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Cinnaminson will host a free rabies clinic sponsored by the State of New Jersey next month. Dr. Robyn Steiner, VMD, will provide the free shots on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, at the Cinnaminson Township Department of Public Works building.

Dogs will be vaccinated from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., according to township officials. Cats will be vaccinated from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The Department of Public Works is located at 1601 Union Landing Road in Cinnaminson. The rain date is Saturday, Jan. 26.

Under township and state law, anyone who owns, keeping or harboring a dog of licensing age (7 months or older) or which possess a set of permanent teeth must annually procure a license and official metal tag for each dog owned from the Municipal Clerk's Office.

To get a license, the owner's pets must get rabies vaccinations. The owner must supply a certificate, signed by a licensed veterinarian, that shows the vaccination is good for at least the first 10 months of the 12 month licensing period. Dog licenses will be available at this clinic. Cash will not be accepted.
