Westbury Infants School announced yesterday that the school would be closed today (Friday, December 7).

The school took to their Facebook page to break the news.

The announcement reads:

Dear Parents

Following advice from Public Health England, and after carrying out our own risk assessments, the decision has been taken to CLOSE Westbury Infant School on Friday, December 7, 2018 due to the recent norovirus outbreak.

The school plans to reopen on Monday, December 10, 2018.

The school disco will now be cancelled and full refunds given. We will rearrange the disco in the New Year.
