A horse in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, has tested positive for West Nile virus (WNV), the Equine Disease Communication Center (EDCC) reported Dec. 11. This is the first case in Spartanburg County and the fifth case of WNV in South Carolina horses confirmed this year.
