Rabies Alert issued in Dixie County

There is a rabies alert in Dixie County.
Health officials say an unvaccinated pet dog in old town tested positive for rabies on Monday.
Areas of concern are Highway 351 to the north and west, Highway 349 to the east, and Northeast 582nd Street to the south.
The alert will remain in effect for 60 days.
