Four metre shark filmed close to popular Esperance swimming spot

VideoTyson Tate filmed what he says was a great white shark swimming off the coast of Cape Le Grand Beach this morning. It swam around his boat for around 45 minutes.

A beach in Perth’s northern suburbs has been closed following shark activity in the area.

Surf Life Saving WA tweeted a tagged tiger shark was detected by a receiver at Mullaloo beach just before 4pm.

The shark was pinged three times by the Mullaloo South receiver around that period.

The beach has been closed to swimmers until further notice.
