2018 was the year of recalls
(WWBT) - A lot of things happened in 2018 from a royal wedding to a false missile alarm being sent to Hawaii, to the Winter Olympics and even the “Laurel vs. Yanny” debate. But one thing that always seemed to happened was another recall. It almost seem like you couldn’t drive, use or eat anything anymore - especially romaine lettuce.
While romaine lettuce seemed to be the biggest scare since it was recalled twice over E. Coli concerns. It had supermarket shelves wiped clean and it seems we just got it back on the shelves.
Here is a list of just some of the recalls, so when you’re cleaning your pantries and cupboards out at the end of the year - make sure you don’t have any of these! There’s also plenty of medicine, vehicle and item recalls as well to check on.

- Pfizer heat wraps - Could cause skin burns if it leaks
- Dog food - Possible Vitamin D toxicity
- Children’s Advil - Wrong dosage cap
- Jennie-O turkey products - Salmonella
- Ham - Listeria
- Kroger Beef - Could contain hard plastic
- Skip Hop’s high chair - Injury risk
- BMW vehicles - Fire risk
- Flushmate toilet - Explosion
- Wayne Farms' chicken - Possibility of metal
- CVS nasal spray - Microbial contamination
- Del Monte Fiesta Corn - Under-processing
- Takata air bags - Can explode with too much force and hurl shrapnel
- Kotex tampons - Quality defect
- Cap’n Crunch’s Peanut Butter Crunch - Salmonella concerns
