Rochester, N.Y. – New statistics from the Monroe County Department of Health state there have been 114 laboratory-confirmed cases of the flu this season.
The latest data tracks cases between October 1 and December 29.
Among those cases, 17 patients were hospitalized.
No deaths have been reported.
The Monroe County Health Department says there's still time to get a flu shot this season, if you haven't done so already.
By this time last year, Monroe County had reported more than 600 lab-confirmed cases, with 175 hospitalizations and one death.
