They had viewers in hysterics over their foot-in-mouth moments in their recent documentary, and now the Bros boys are at it again – with Luke Goss accidentally insulting his brother Matt on live TV.

Bros were guests on Good Morning Britain and called in from separate locations, Matt from Las Vegas and Luke from Los Angeles.

They’re said to be getting on better than they have in years, but in a cringeworthy moment, Luke managed to insult his brother’s outfit choice without realising.

Luke was talking about the many inadvertently funny moments in fly-on-the-wall documentary about their reunion show Bros: After the Screaming Stops when he dropped the clanger.

He said: “Absolutely, there are some funny moments in the documentary, Matt and I were looking at each other thinking ‘oh my goodness’.

“It’s a short hand that develops between any brother or sister, any couple, and sometimes it might be a summary, you might not be hearing the whole answer.

“But there are lots of moments that Matt and I would laugh at this documentary because you become a musician not to put on a shirt and tie every day, it’s kind of a crazy world…”

Meanwhile Matt, dressed in a suit and tie, interrupted: “I’m wearing a shirt and tie, Luke. I’m wearing a suit and tie, bruv, I mean that’s a dig.”

In exciting news for Brosettes, they also announced that they would be touring the UK and the world this summer, including a July 5 gig at London’s Brixton Academy which will go on sale on January 19.

The outfit comment was the latest in a long line of hilarious quotes from the twins, including some much-quoted one-liners from their documentary.

One of the most memorable was Matt saying to camera: “I made a conscious decision because of Stevie Wonder to not be superstitious.”

During the GMB interview, Matt tried to explain the quote further…but really just ended up repeating more of the song’s lyrics.

He said: “As an edit, I see that it’s a funny thing and I’m glad they edited it that way because it is funny, but the truth behind the answer is that as working class boys, growing up, our literature was album sleeves and song lyrics.

“The line before it is ‘believe in things you don’t understand and you’ll suffer’. Our family was crippled by superstition and Stevie’s lyrics did influence me and the good thing is I get to sit here and say I still believe that sentence and that’s what I guess is the point of the movie, it’s authentic.

“I did make a decision because our family was crippled by superstition, don’t do this, don’t do that, and I still believe now that if you believe in things you don’t understand then you’ll suffer.”

He also said of making the film: “I think it was almost like going through therapy in front of a nation. I didn’t realise there were so many unresolved issues between me and my brother.

“But we made a decision between the two of us that we would not have any rights to editing, we would just be warts and all, what you see is what you get.”

Talking about the viewer reaction, Matt added: “It’s easy to say about the negative and there has been the occasional troll on Twitter and everyone, not just celebrities, is used to those kind of people.

“A lot of people have reacted to the poignant parts, and the funny stuff and the ludicrous stuff. It’s full of everything, I know it’s highly entertaining and it’s hard for us to watch it at times, but I’ve been blown away by the support, too.

“Piers Morgan probably has a masterclass at avoiding the negative comments.”
