This UT research assistant hopes to win it big on 'Jeopardy!’ Wednesday ... Who is John Presloid?

TOLEDO (WTOL) - A University of Toledo alumnus and current employee has showed off his smarts four days straights on “Jeopardy!”

John Presloid, a research assistant with the University of Toledo Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, won on Wednesday, Thursday Friday and Monday’s episode of the show. This means, Presloid will be back on Tuesday episode of the show at 7:30 p.m. for a chance to win again.

Presloid earned his bachelor’s degree in pharmacology from UT in 2004 and a master of science degree in biomedicine in 2008.

For the past four years, he’s worked in the lab of Dr. Mark Wooten, UT professor of medical microbiology and immunology, who studies Lyme disease and melioidosis, a bacterial infection common in tropical climates.
