Reports suggest Annual flu vaccine may reduce the risk of premature death via heart attack

As per the recent study performed, it has been claimed that annual flu shot can decrease the risk of premature death in people who have been recently diagnosed with heart failure.

The latest studies proposed that flu vaccinations may be of greatly beneficial, majorly to people with heart problems. These Studies have concluded that people with heart failure are more prone to flu complications, in comparison to those who do not have the disease. However, now it has been proposed that annual flu shot can decrease the risk of premature death in people  who have been recently diagnosed with heart failure by up to 18 per cent.

The research which has been published in the American Heart Association’s (AHA) journal Circulation also informed that annual flu shots decreased patients’ risk of dying from any reason or from cardiovascular disease by 19 per cent. Earlier in 2018, scientists of the University of Toronto linked heart attacks to influenza infection in a  study published in the New England Journal of Medicine. Researches found that infection with influenza can majorly increase the risk for hospitalisations and death in patients with heart failure.

Speculations are being made that such researches may help the human race to March towards a better and healthier life.
