Fox bites homeowner, tests positive for rabies

Fox bites homeowner, tests positive for rabies
Some raccoons in West Virginia that appear to be rabid are apparently just drunk on fermented crab apples. The Milton Police Department had to take one of these raccoons named Dallas, into custody recently in a post on Facebook, they wrote. We have had calls on suspected rabid raccoons twice over the last two days. Turns out they appear to be drunk on crab apples, although they did also say that other raccoons could be sick and not to get near them, but to call the police. Earlier this year, there was a case of drunk birds in Minnesota flying into windows and cars, but this turned out to be because they had eaten Berries that fermented earlier than they usually do.
