Snow sticks to roads quickly; schools close early

Afternoon snow quickly stuck to roads Feb. 1 as big flakes fell from the sky. 

Many schools on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and at the Delaware Beaches closed early as road conditions worsened. Some businesses also closed their doors early. 

The area anticipated to get about an inch of snow Feb. 1, according the National Weather Service in Wakefield, Virginia.
