Officials provided the following details about the confirmed cases in Clark County –
Ages
- 1 to 10 years: 38 cases
- 11 to 18 years: 13 cases
- 19 to 29 years: one case
- 30 to 39 years: one case
Immunization status
- Unimmunized: 46 cases
- Unverified: six cases
- 1 MMR vaccine: one case
Hospitalization: one case (none currently)
The CDC says one dose of the measles. mump, rubella (MMR) vaccine is 93 percent effective, while having two doses of the vaccine is 97 percent effective. Children typically receive the first MMR vaccine at one year to 15 months old, and the second dose from 4 to 6 years of age.
