When doing the weekly shop, we all expect to be getting what it says on the tin but this isn't always the case and sometimes there can be problems with what we are putting in our baskets.

It is rare, but there can be problems during production that mean products have to be recalled for whatever reason.

The Food Standards Agency will deals with the recall of products whenever it is deemed they could potentially cause a risk to members of the public.

This week, mayonnaise that could contain salmonella, a child's toy that could cause an internal blockage if swallowed and several snacks that contain unlisted ingredients have all been recalled by the agency.

Anyone who has bought one of the products listed in the recall is advised  to return them to where they bought them from as soon as they can.

All returns will be accepted - even without a receipt - and customers will be given a full refund for the purchase.
