York school closes due to flu outbreak

YORK COUNTY — Lincoln Charter School in York announced that it will be closed until next week due to a flu outbreak.

The school will be closed until Tuesday, March 12, due to a number of confirmed cases of influenza and intestinal viruses in the school and community.

In a letter to parents, the school said it is averaging 70 plus students and numerous staff members absent on a daily basis.

The school is asking parents to keep their children at home if they are showing symptoms of the virus.
