Flu cases dropping in northeastern SD, statewide
The weekly total of confirmed flu cases is falling in South Dakota, according to the latest data from the state Department of Health.
No new influenza-related deaths were reported during the week ending March 2, according to provisional data. Brown County reported 53 confirmed flu cases during that week, but no flu-related hospitalizations.

Flu symptoms
Influenza usually comes on suddenly. Not everyone with the flu will have a fever, according to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. People who have the flu often feel some or all of these symptoms:
