Another patient has died in Monroe County as flu season continues in New York, making ten deaths this season.
All of the deaths have been among patients over the age of 50.
In its report, that includes data through March 9, the health department says there have now been 3,340 confirmed flu cases in Monroe County.
The good news: New flu cases remained lower than the peaks in February, where the number of new positive flu test per week neared 600 cases. The last two weeks, that number has stayed around the mid-400s.
