Sixty-five Oklahomans have died due to the flu since the beginning of this flu season, according to the latest report released Thursday by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.According to the health department, since Sept. 1, 2018, 2,600 people have been hospitalized due to the flu.Officials said 43 of those who died were over the age of 65, 14 were between the ages of 50 and 64, seven were between the ages of 18 and 49, and one child was between the ages of 5 and 17.Eight deaths were reported in Oklahoma County.See the full report from the health department.
