Nine years ago a Chick-Fil-A restaurant in Kansas started doing an annual daddy-daughter night, and the trend has spread across the country.

Various Chick-Fil-A locations across the country have picked up the tradition started by dad Jeff Rouse, who was running that Kansas restaurant when his daughter was little and came up with the idea of a Chick-Fil-A dad and daughter date night.

“Each year, many Chick-fil-A restaurants across the country dedicate one special night to the exceptional bond between fathers and their daughters. Sure to make every girl feel like a princess, each restaurant transforms itself into a magical scene complete with menus, tablecloths, flowers, balloons and sometimes even bigger surprises like limousine rides,” Chick-Fil-A notes on its blog, The Chicken Wire.

It’s not a thing at every Chick-Fil-A, so you’ve got to ask your local franchise if they put one on, but some locations do have daddy-daughter nights coming up soon, and you’ll need a reservation.

Some locations have dad-daughter nights coming up on Saturday, March 23. The event costs $20 per father-daughter pair (and $5 per additional daughter).

Other locations do an annual father-daughter night the last Friday before Valentine’s Day (something to book for next year!). Some father-daughter bonding time + delicious chicken sandwiches. It’s a perfect combo.
