EgyptAir flight returns after takeoff due to crew member illness

CAIRO – 23 March 2019: An EgyptAir flight returned to Cairo International Airport Saturday shortly after takeoff heading to Copenhagen after a crew member suffered severe illness.

Captain Tamer Gamal, the pilot of the flight no. 759, flying to Denmark on Saturday, decided to return to the runway at the airport after a crew member fainted.

The flight resumed to its destination after the sick crew member was taken to the quarantine at the airport.
