LAS VEGAS (KLAS) —  A bill that had a hearing in the legislature Tuesday morning is tackling the sex trafficking of young women. Senate Bill 7 had it’s first hearing in the state assembly.

It ramps up the penalties for soliciting underage prostitution from a child under the age of 14. Someone who knowningly does that would be sentenced to life in prison with the possiblity of parole. Currently, that would be a one to four year penalty.
