Southwestern Bartholomew Water Corp. is issuing a boil order for customers in Brown County beginning Monday as a result of a water main repair.
The boil water order goes into effect from 2 p.m. Monday until noon Thursday for customers on State Road 46 West in Brown County west of North Salem Church to Camp Moneto Road, along with some customers on Old Nashville Road.
Customers on Hoover Road and Lucas Hollow Road are also within the boil order advisory.
As a precaution, customers should bring their water to a full boil for five minutes before consumption or use in cooking or food preparation.
