[VIDEO] Three men try to set security guard on fire after he stopped rape attempt

Greater Noida: In a shocking incident, three men allegedly tried to set a man on fire after he stopped the accused from molesting a girl. The incident occurred on Friday midnight in Faleda village of Jewer tehsil in Greater Noida area of Uttar Pradesh.
The attackers allegedly set the man's hut on fire while he was sleeping inside it. The victim worked as a security guard in a private company. Luckily, the victim survived with minor injuries and was admitted to a hospital.
The incident is the fallout of a previous incident where the man stopped the three attackers from raping a girl a few days back.
The victim said he was inside his hut when he heard the scream of a girl, who was being molested by the three men. The men tried to drag the girl to an isolated place. He said he intervened and forced the men to flee.
The security guard has filed a First Information Report (FIR) naming a person.
The victim said three men on a motorcycle set his hut on fire, but he managed to get out on time and save his life. All the three accused are still absconding.
"The incident occurred in Jewer tehsil when a man who worked as a security guard was sleeping inside his hut. Some people set the hut on fire. During the course of the investigation, we found that he had stopped the three accused from molesting a girl, a few days back. He ran out of his hut and later informed the police. We have filed a case and are probing the matter," Greater Noida's Superintendent of Police (SP) Ranvijay Singh said.

'Baba' rapes woman on pretext of treatment
In a similar incident a Dalit woman was allegedly raped by a self-styled Baba in Salukchapra area of Dhanbad district in Jharkhand last week. The incident took place at Lal Baba Ashram and the accused has been identified as Bharat Acharya alias Bharu Baba. Police have booked the 'Baba' and arrested him on the complaint of the woman.
The woman, who got married just two months ago, was taken to the Bharu Baba for treatment of an unknown illness. The woman alleged that Bharu took her to an isolated place and sexually assaulted her by tying her hands and legs.
The woman said Bharu also thrashed her when she resisted the assault and threatened to kill her with magic. After some time the woman informed her parents about the misdeeds of the Bharu Baba.
