Case of whooping cough confirmed at Sherman school

A case of whooping cough has been confirmed at Dillingham Intermediate School in Sherman.

In an email sent to parents Friday, Dillingham Intermediate said The Grayson County Health Department confirmed one case of whooping cough at the campus.

The schools reminds parents keep their children up to date on vaccines and contact their child's doctor if they develop any symptoms over the next two weeks.

The school will update parents as needed.
