City of Niangua, Mo. lifts boil water order

The city of Niangua, Mo. has lifted a boil water order for all of its customers.

The boil order was initially issued Tuesday, Feb. 25.

A city spokesperson tells KY3 a water main broke on South Elm Street. Crews are working to fix that break.

The city asks customers in this area to bring their water to a boil for three minutes before using it for drinking or cooking. Tap water is okay for washing, bathing and other non-consumable uses.
