Notes

Vaccination estimates are 1-dose MMR vaccination rates for children 0-5 years old. Most children are eligible for their first MMR dose at 12 months of age. Children are born with passive immunity which gradually fades around 6 months of age. Therefore, population immunity levels in this group may be slightly higher than 1-dose MMR rates suggest. However, please note, the ACIP recommends two doses of MMR vaccine for most children with the second dose being recommended between 4 and 6 years of age. One dose of MMR is approximately 93% effective against measles, while two doses is approximately 97% effective against measles.
